Reviews for Vinosteria Borracho
Review highlights
Based on 1,101 reviewsVinosteria Borracho in Saint Vincent is widely appreciated for its cozy, traditional tavern atmosphere and authentic regional cuisine, featuring a focused menu of pasta, steaks, and antipasti. Visitors frequently highlight the quality of meat dishes and the well-curated selection of local wines offered at reasonable prices. The friendly and welcoming staff contribute positively to the dining experience, although some note that service can occasionally be slow. The restaurant’s extended hours and recommendation to reserve in advance underscore its popularity. While portions of antipasti tend to be small, most find that a single main dish suffices for a satisfying meal, making Vinosteria Borracho a recommended stop for both locals and travelers passing through the area.
The town of Saint Vincent is a quaint village with an oversized casino, and a few decent eateries. We decided to stop by as it’s a perfect stopover on the way to lake Como / Milan if driving from France.Came across this place as a recommendation from a friend otherwise not sure would have found it. This cosy local feeling establishment serves a mixture of pasta and meat dishes and also a good selection of cheese and meat platters. Can imagine it’s a perfect place to grab a platter and a bottle of wine and provides a perfect setting for an intimate setting between two or three. The wine selection is impressive (both by the glass and by the bottle) and the service was impeccable in spite of our lack of Italian. Food came relatively quick and portion size was generous. The beef tagliata was cooked perfectly, and duck breast sauce very meaty with accompanied potatoes crispy and plentiful. Nothing to improve on this experience will come again.
Great atmosphere in a traditional tavern serving local specialties and typical dishes of the region. Efficient service. Best to reserve in advance where possible to avoid disappointment. Good choice of local wines at very reasonable prices.
The steak with blue cheese was amazing! Cooked increases good!I think their meat and wine choice definitely worth a visit!!!
Really good and tastefull food with great flavours. The waiter was really friendly.Definitely would recommend to eat here.
We ate here twice because everything was very good. Also, as opossed to other restaurants, this one stays open until 2am. Great variety of wines, from different regions of Italy. The food menu is not long - pasta, steaks and antipasti. The antipasti portions are small. You can get full with oy one primi or secondi. Friendly staff although the service was a bit slow.
My partner and I went for an early dinner and we were able to find a table without reservation. The staff were polite, knowledgeable and helpful to try to accommodate my allergy requirements. The food was excellent and tasty. We enjoyed the experience so much that we have already been back. Super recommended!
It is a must!!! The young owner extremely helpful made our vacation a mixing with some regional tips!!! Thanks again.
